Reminder that the BBC has been captured as a propaganda arm by the Conservative party: new director-general donated £400,000 to the Tory election campaign, is a Tory himself. Partisan political appointee in charge of the news.
But of course the private sector wants nothing to do with Covid patients, or emergencies, or anyone who is really ill: they only want non-urgent non-complex elective surgical patients willing to pay cash up front or covered by insurance. Parasites. Only the NHS cares for all.

"And here at the opening of Parliament, 2043, we have the ceremonial chastening of the Foreign Secretary, the origins of this ceremony were lost in a haze of drink and regret but are believed to be from the early 2020s."
Cases are dropping. Do not think that the NHS is now "Ok".
The constant delayed govt decision making is killing people.
Thousands of families & frontline NHS staff are going through hell.
Below is a message sent to me by a London ICU doc. Read it, share it & stay home. 1/2

My response is normal, common, & good. Plan the day after your 2nd shot accordingly. Leave open if possible.

Remember, Japan, a country with twice the population of the UK - and more of them elderly - has lost fewer people to Covid IN TOTAL than we have this week.
The Tories let it get out of control, they didn't support us through lockdown, they eased lockdown too early and too far...
The attitude that the Tories are "doing their best in a difficult situation" misses the point in a perfect way: them "doing their best" demonstrates why they aren't fit to govern. And we now have two clear examples of this in action.

Unsold fish are rotting on docks, seafood companies are hitting the wall, but Jacob Rees-Mogg says what matters is that fish are now ‘happier’ because they’re ‘British’
Hey, fishermen, nothing more patriotic than delivering tonnes of happy, British fish, to feed @Number10cat.

At the end of the last Labour government, your chances of being in poverty were one in five.
Now it's one in three.

Give parents £30 to spend on food. Do not give £30 to a private company to profit from hungry children. It’s simple.
We already have this awesome network of food distribution centres that function on razor-thin margins and even compete with each other as conservatives would like, they're called supermarkets, and they take these universal vouchers called "bank notes".
Replying to @wesstreeting: It’s not better food parcels we need. It’s an end to the poverty that drives the need for food parcels at all.

There’s a sea shanty trend going on over there. It started with one guy singing. Then someone ‘dueted’ his vid... then someone ‘dueted’ that one, etc.
"Too many in the media bottled it. At some point we have to own this. Donald Trump and his mob succeeded in getting this far because we, the media, failed. We failed you."
I have been waiting four long years to say this. It's important.
