When I’m not chained to my desk, you’ll find me exploring my backyard all year round.
My winter adventures has been nothing short of incredible - seeing glaciers & ice caves.
At Auschwitz we see the end of the long process. It's important to remember that the Holocaust did not start from gas chambers & murder.
The hatred slowly developed from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice, through legal exclusion, escalating violence & dehumanization.
My great-grandparents tragically perished at Auschwitz.
We say never again, but as human beings we have a tendency to be forgetful & ignorant. I wish we would be kinder to one another & learn from the past to stop such atrocities reoccurring #HolocaustMemorialDay
