When people say I'm too young to be depressed I list off my most severe medical symptoms and ask if they'd not have depression in my shoes. Uncomfy conversation, amirite?

Normalize head shaving because of dexterity issues. Not just because a person is ill or trying to be edgy 🙄 Young people have dexterity problems, too 👋🏾👋🏾 Milne have just gotten WORSE over the years. But no one who matters will take me seriously 🙄 #DisabilityHasNoAgeRequirement

AND ANOTHER THING— nobody talks about how unspeakably demoralizing it is to spend every day in incapacitating pain and then have a whole team of doctors pass the buck and refuse to help you because “you’re too young to get started on that”

I can't remember life "before" pain&fatigue. as a pre/teen I complained daily abt pain&tiredness & was told to change my diet, exercise, stop coffee, etc. drs didnt even take my chest pain seriously&I grew scared to be seen for anything ever #DisabilityHasNoAgeRequirement 1/
